Following our recent successful meeting in Killenard,(Sept 9th,) I have met with group administrator Michael Kelly, on Wed 16th & would like to update the group as follows:
1. We have achieved a rate of 1.1% for Merchant Services, and are negotiating to havie this revised downwards to 1%, also a reduced scale of charges for Laser & other Card transactions etc applies.
2. We have negotiated the removal of "Plate" charges with J J O Tooles for orders of 15,000+ Carrier Bags.(Group rate only)
3. ESB Business / Energia / Bord Gas & Airtricity, are currently reviewing their charges,they will issue new rates in Oct, but have confirmed availability of "Affinity" Rates for our group.(Actual details to follow)
4.New Website will be available to support the activities of the Group as discussed.( Subject to sufficent Membership No of 40 approx being achieved).This will be similiar in function to the current ISRA website (www.isra.ie)
5.Potential Members who were unavailable to attend the presentation in Killenard, will be contacted by current members to inform / update them.We will also be available to talk to / meet with these prospective members.
6.On-line IFRAI Membership Form will be available on this Forum.
7.I will continue engaging with the suppliers identified by the Group, & would remind you of the survey which will be distributed after Memberships have been finalised.
This will asst in forming a fuller picture of the Groups collective turnover,principle suppliers & geographical location etc
